am deeply passionate about Science, particularly Biology, and I bring this enthusiasm into every lesson I teach. My sessions are engaging, enjoyable, and designed to spark curiosity while building understanding. I am reliable, punctual, and approachable, always aiming to create a supportive learning environment.

Tutoring appeals to me because it allows me to work closely with children and young adults, helping them grow academically and personally. It offers the opportunity to play a meaningful role in their development, while also keeping me connected to the subject I love. I value the intellectual stimulation tutoring brings, as well as the chance to share my enthusiasm for Science and inspire the next generation of learners.

I believe I am sincere and genuine in my approach, which helps me build trust and strong rapport with my students. When students feel safe and supported, they’re more likely to express themselves openly, seek help when needed, and engage more fully with the learning process. This environment encourages them to step outside their comfort zones without fear of failure—often the key to developing true confidence.

In addition to Biology, I am also able to tutor BTEC Level 2 Applied Science with a focus on Forensics.

Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings between 5.00pm and 8.00pm

Experience: I have 13years experience of tutoring GCSE Science and Key Stage 3 Science. In particular, I have a good knowledge of the AQA Triple Science and AQA Combined Science over a range of abilities. I can give sound advice on revision techniques and planning and provide revision sessions if required. A word of advice, please do not leave revision sessions till last minute, although, late revision is better then no revision at all!
