I am a 34 year old science teacher with strong academic qualifications in science and and maths. I studied Biomedical Science at The University of Sheffield where I obtained a 2.1 (1% off a 1st). I then moved onto to complete my PGCE in Biology at Kings College London. Since then I have been teaching for 11 years, this is my twelfth year with experience in teaching all sciences from KS1 up to GCSE Science and Biology up to A Level.
I am currently Head of Science in a Prep School in North West London with an excellent academic reputation. I teach Years 3 to 6 and am very confident with the KS2 curriculum.

I try to make tutoring sessions as individual, active and challenging as possible. The work will be catered to the needs of the pupil with any areas of weakness focused on strongly. An active pupil is much more likely to learn then a pupil who just looks and listens. This will involve past exam questions, problem solving and simple remembering tasks.
