I am a middle aged female and have a Degree, Masters Degree and Doctorate in Chemistry.
I can also offer to teach remotely via Zoom, you just have to download the programme for free, if you need any more information please let me know.
Availability: Evenings and Weekends
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have been teaching Maths and Sciences particularly Maths and Chemistry for over 20 years from Lower Secondary to GCSE and A-level with excellent results. I also have experience teaching 11+. I can teach students on a one to one basis or in small groups. I’ve had a lot of success teaching, with students achieving their places at University in their required subject from Dentistry to Medicine. I also have the ability to make Maths come across as simple as possible for people who find Maths very difficult.
I believe that I am able to tailor my tuition style to each student, allowing him or her to learn as much as possible during the lessons, but overall I like the tuition to be relaxed and focused,
and a place were students feel they can ask any types of questions without feeling embarrassed so they learn to their full potential. At GCSE and A-Level we focus particularly on exam technique and practice, a crucial area so often overlooked in the classroom.

Website says willing to travel 10 miles. Paid tutorhunt for contact details. She told me she only tutors from her home which is unsuitable for us. I wouldn’t have paid the money if this had been made clear on the website

Apologies for this, due to myself being so busy it became difficult for myself to travel and with travel details not being mentioned in our dialogue before the purchase this was not commicated between the two of us. My daughter required extra science tuition. this website appeared to be the easiest to access. It gave me a number of tutors and I have chosen Corina. My daughter has described Corina as very welcoming and kind. She has told me that Corina is very helpful and explains things well, particularly chemistry. As a parent, Corina is always contactable and flexible with times when possible. She is a very friendly, warm lady.

Corina has helped my son achieve good passes in all his science subjects in his GCSE`s this summer. He had failed all his mock exams so this was a great achievement. He is now going on to take Chemistry and Biology at A`level.

Corina has been tutoring AS level chemistry to my 16 yr old son. He has found her teaching style relaxed and comfortable ( a big accolade from a shy teenager). She has demystified concepts by the use of accessible language and clear instruction geared to his understanding & learning style.
