Information about Caroline
I am a Post-Graduate in both English Literature and Psychology able to tutor young people or adults in either Psychology or English. I am enthusiastic and have a patient caring manner so lessons will be at your pace and tailored to your individual style. I am currently tutoring seven students and have managed to increase their confidence considerably since our work together. I am also experienced in working with individuals who may have emotional, learning or mental health issues which may have previously affected their learning.
Availability: I am available most days during the week and for some evenings or weekends where this may be required.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I previously taught individuals to read in the community on a voluntary basis. I also have experience of working within a college with A level and GCSE English students on a voluntary basis. I have previously taught English as a Foreign Language with Fareham Language school and have been tutoring students at varying levels of English.

Caroline is a wonderful tutor. She is very nice, professional and patient. Even during this pandemic she has helped me get my assignments done. She has really helped me build my confidence at working at level 5 (degree level). I would recommend her to anyone.

Caroline is making a real difference to my sons confidence in English. He enjoys the lessons, which surprised him as English is his least favourite subject.
She is a very pleasant lady with a positive attitude to learning. I would happily recommend her.

Very pleased with the support and encouragement that Caroline has given my son for his GCSE English.
Caroline has been extremely accommodating and understanding, when we have had to change days or times, and she has been very professional in everything that she has done. She has gone out of her way to find resources, liaise with teachers and support my son.
He has now grown in confidence and has already got a really good result for his course work, all directly related to the work that Caroline has done. She always arrives in plenty of time and she often stays well over the time agreed. I cannot recommend her enough to others!
