I am married have 3 grown-up children and I live in Churchdown. I have dedicated my working life to teaching in the state sector. I have been both a Head of Chemistry and Head of Science.
I have found that tutoring is a way to discover misunderstandings and areas of missing knowledge. Once exposed these problems can be addressed so that a fuller understanding can be achieved.
Availability: Mainly early evening

Experience: I have successfully taught Chemistry and Science for the last 41 years mainly in local secondary schools. I have experience of most specifications,including Salters and iGCSE. For 7 years up to 2012 I taught AS and A2 Chemistry at a local FE college where I had a very high pass rate.
