Information about Cordelia
I am a qualified and practising secondary school teacher. Prior to my training, for the last five years I have worked full time as a tutor but have tutored alongside studying for eight years. I am a graduate of Durham (BA History), and UCL (MA Central and South Eastern European Studies).
My main areas of interest are humanities and languages and I am an enthusiastic and passionate communicator.
I taylor my lessons to students` needs completely. I mix exam technique with syllabus coverage. I am inventive in my lesson ideas to ensure that students are engaged with the subject matter.
Please note: I offer Ancient Greek only, not modern Greek.
Please also note: I require at least 24 hours` notice for cancellations otherwise I have to charge in full for the missed lesson.
Availability: I can tutor during the day and weekday evenings.

Experience: I am a highly experienced tutor, having taught a range of subjects, and have a passion for teaching and communication. I have a clear understanding of the structure of current and new A-Level and GCSE courses and the necessary requirements. I have a very high success rate with many of my pupils achieving the highest grades and demonstrating a marked improvement since tuition.

Cordelia was always very well prepared for classes and delivered stimulating, lively sessions. She was very friendly and renewed my daughter`s self confidence which had been destroyed by a school atmosphere of pushing rather than encouraging and inadequately experienced staff. Cordelia not only filled the gaps but gave back former enthusiasm for study and a hugely better chance of achieving good exam results too. Thank you Cordelia!

Cordelia is enthusiastic, highly engaging during her lessons, interesting, reliable and efficient to name some of her attributes. She is a quality tutor to the highest level. At the meantime I`m studying Access to Nursing Course with Distance Learning Centre at home. I need a tutor to help me in my course, and check my course work such as essay, assingment to improve my A level writing, that means may just need to send the work via email or by paper
