I have a passion for Biology and before teaching I was able to carry out biological research in remote locations in Africa and Ireland I then specialised in fieldwork Biology and expeditions before settling down to College teaching. I can deliver most syllabuses and will personalise lessons to your needs in line with your learning style. I can offer all types of support :from practical techniques, fieldwork, exam technique i.e. whatever it takes to give you the edge and improve your understanding and self confidence.

Experience: I am a highly experienced teacher of Biology with over 20 years experience of teaching A level. Until recently I was head of Science at a private secondary school in China for six years and before that I was team leader for biology and environmental science at Bury college which at that time was an outstanding beacon college.Whilst there I wrote national materials for the OCR exam board biology. I have also worked in Blackburn college and in three different field study centres.
