I am a qualified teacher with over 10 years teaching experience. I have previously been a Head of Business Studies and Enterprise Advisor working in 3 different schools. I work part-time teaching A-Level and BTEC at a local 6th form college.
I have taught Business Studies to A2, AS and BTEC National standard, achieving excellent results throughout.
I have experience of private tutoring in both small groups and individually. I make all lessons enjoyable and interactive and keep concepts simple, making it easier for the learner to understand.
I am currently Managing Director of a property business and see tutoring as an ideal way of keeping in contact with education and maintaining contact with students. I see tutoring as a rewarding way to give something back with its flexibility key to managing my time.
Availability: I am available to tutor during the daytime and early evening.

Have been a Head of Business and Enterprise and an Enterprise Advisor covering responsible for Enterprise education in 50 schools in Barking and Dagenham. Am now Managing Director of a property company - Arrive Homes. I have 6 years experience of private tutoring.

Thank you Phil for giving Marvin encouragement in Business studies and economics. My son finds it very interesting and he says your approach to business makes the subject more fun and enjoyable to learn. He very much likes the real life scenarios that you draw into your discussions and he says your approach has made him make up his mind that he’s definitely making the subject a GCSE option. Absolutely brilliant tutor, conscientious and keen for his students to do well in their studies. My son ended up getting top grades in his subject, and passing his level 3 BTEC diploma D*D*D*. Went on to get his dream job thanks to Phil.

Phil has been tutoring my son for a couple of months towards AS & A level Business Studies. I have found him an excellent tutor,reliable,punctual & has a professional,efficient teaching manner. My son`s grades have vastly improved in his mock tests & assessments & we have high hopes for his A level results & subsequent University placing.
