I`m a friendly, relaxed & experienced teacher with 18 years` professional playing behind me (to date). I specialise in English & French traditional music but I also play a bit of Canadian, Swedish, Eastern European, 1930s & 40s popular repertoire & a smattering of jazz. I studied classical piano at Cambridge then decided the accordion looked more fun, so I started playing that instead (in 1993). I`ve made several albums, played at countless festivals & concerts, and I have a small ensemble called Boldwood & a female accordion trio called Hell Said the Duchess.

Availability: Weekdays, daytime & evening.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I`ve taught one-to-one for 18 years, with pupils aged from 4 to 68. I`ve also run folk groups & accordion workshops at festivals & at one-off workshops days.
