I have a Biochemistry/molecular genetics research background along with experience of secondary school teaching (KS3, GCSE, AS/A level). I have the ability to explain complicated concepts in a way that make them seem simple and as a result my students tend to achieve particularly good exam results.
I adapt lesson plans to individual requirements and will teach in a way that suits the strengths of each individual student.
Along with the more typical GCSE/A level teaching, I also have experience tutoring mature students in both Biology and Chemistry along with experience of building confidence and teaching scientific thinking skills to pre-GCSE teens.
