Hello, I am a friendly, professional and experienced teacher of French from beginners to A level and English to GCSE for both school age children and adults.
I have a PGCE in Further, Higher and Adult Education and Qualified Teacher Status in Secondary Education.
My aim is to deliver enjoyable and relaxed, yet effective tuition during which my students can progress rapidly towards their specific learning goals. Following a free of charge initial meeting, my lessons will be closely tailored to meet your specific needs and delivered at a pace to suit you.

Experience: I have taught in secondary schools for the past 10 years and previously in Further Education. I have been tutoring privately for the past eight years and have taught students at all secondary school levels, from Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9) through to GCSE and A Level. I also teach adults of all ages who wish to learn a language for fun, as a hobby or to help them develop their career prospects.

I needed a French tutor who was patient, who would be willing to identify my specific language needs and work with the knowledge foundation I already had by enriching it with their own language materials.
Anne was exactly what I needed! She made the lessons engaging, informative, and identified areas that needed improvement as well as re-enforcing areas that I felt confident in.

We found these lessons extremely helpful. After only a few weeks of lessons, my daughter is much more confident in the French language. Each lesson is very well thought out using a variety of resources to teach.
