I have been in education most of my life and have had a range of experiences. My specialism is in supporting young people with additional needs. My passion is to enable and inspire you to find the best routes and ways for you to succeed in life and feel supported in the best way for you.
I offer patient, friendly &constructive support in working with you to find solutions or to just find the steps you need to take to succeed on your path. I also can work with you on study skills in any subject, go through composition of your work, help you understand work set or look at exam techniques.
I also have experience in helping to compose personal statements for university application and have supported students in successful completion of research studies and dissertations.

Availability: Available some weekdays. most days in the evening during term time, at variable times over school / college holiday periods and on some weekends, mostly during the day.

Experience: I currently work as SENCO and supporting young people with additional needs. This also includes supporting parents and families including support through the EHCP process. I have worked in supporting young people with additional needs most of my life in schools, colleges, 1:1 and also at leadership level.
I also used to teach and coordinate courses in Business, Tourism and Hospitality and taught English for Academic Purposes and IELTS.
I offer emotional support, mentoring study skills and support for young people in school and also college and university students.
I have also supported students working on assignments and dissertations at university in addition to tracing snd tutoring abroad in Thailand and Mexico.
