I am a qualified science teacher and have been tutoring Biology and Chemistry A-Level for many years. Most of my students have improved their grade on expected grades and all have said they have become more confident in their chosen subjects following one-to-one tuition.
I have a positive attitude and believe for learning to be effective it should be made as interesting and fun as possible, by relating it to personal knowledge, interests and experiences.I also believe that it is important to tailor teaching to the needs of individuals and endeavour to do this at all times.
I feel I am a very aproachable person and act in a professional yet friendly manner. I aim to create a relationship and atmosphere which enhances the learning experience.
I have had experience teaching OCR and Edexel syllabuses and 21st Century Science at GCSE and AQA and OCR at A-Level.

Experience: I have taught at three different schools over the course of my PGCE and have experience as a supply teacher and personal tutor. As such, I have experience of all age and ability ranges over the secondary school from yr7 to A-Level.
