Hi,
My name is Sarah, I am from Angers, a small city in the West of France.I Have a degree in English and French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and PGCE trained in England.

I have been teaching French as a foreign language for the past 7 years in Primary/ Secondary settings in education and I have also a lot of experience teaching adults in class and 1:1 (conversation and grammar workshops)

I have a passion for teaching and am dedicated to make the lessons fun and interesting as well as cultural, based on authentic resources (cinema, television, literature, music, etc)

I can help with basics, grammar, GCSE, A-levels, conversation fluency, pronunciation, etc.

I enjoying creating my own resources and cater my lessons around my students interest as well as sharing my love for the francophone world!

As I work in education my hours are quite flexible in the evening and at weekends. I can travel to yours or usually meet in cafes and libraries.

2009-2010 French language assistant, The Blue Coat school, I was responsible for designing my own resources and carrying out conversational classes with 6th formers

2013-2014 French language assistant in a 6th form college in Warrington. I was responsible for preparing 6th form students for Alevel speaking exams as well as the International Baccalaureat.

2014-2015 French teacher in a secondary school in North Wales. I was responsible for teaching French from key stage 3 to A level.

2010-now French tutor for adult classes, I am currently teaching a variety of night classes for adult learners in Liverpool. The levels vary from very beginners to confirmed, GCSE, A-levels, conversation clubs and grammar workshops for both students and adults.
