Hi everyone,
Im an experienced and qualified primary school teacher and Im looking to take on more private pupils in the local area. I tutor all primary subjects and as an English and Drama specialist I can teach these subjects to A-Level.
I focus on nurturing childrens confidence and love for learning. I am super friendly and I have a gift for connecting with children of all ages. Im passionate about learning which is why I love being a private tutor.
I am able to adapt my tutoring style to suit the individual child`s needs. The best thing to do is to tell me a little about your child`s interests and school life, book a trial hour with me and I will then be able to create an individual learning plan.
For £30 per hour (£35 if its a little further to travel), I will plan, prepare and deliver a one-to-one lesson tailored to your childs needs in the comfort of your home.
I am experienced in preparing pupils for 11+, KS1 SATs and KS2 SATs.
I have worked as a class teacher in the independent and state sectors. Ive taught Year 2, 3 and 5 and whilst training I taught Year 1, 3 and 6.
When I am not working I enjoy singing, keeping fit and cooking.
Availability: After school
Please note: prices may vary depending on how far I have to travel to your home!
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have worked as a class teacher in the independent and state sectors. Ive taught Year 2, 3 and 5 and whilst training I taught Year 1, 3 and 6.
I went to The Lady Eleanor Holles School from the age of 11 until I was 18. I then went on to Royal Holloway University of London to study English and Drama, graduating in 2010 with a 2:1. After training in Musical Theatre at Central School of Speech and Drama, I enjoyed a short career as an actor before qualifying as a teacher. I worked as a primary school teacher for 4 years, gaining experience as a Literacy Coordinator. I am now self-employed, working as a private tutor, actor and drama/musical theatre teacher.
