I am an enthusiastic and committed teacher with a BA in German and a BSc in Environmental Sciences. I discovered an interest in teaching while tutoring in German at university and went on to teach English as a Foreign Language for 10 years. My science specialisms are Ecology and Biochemistry, which I am able to teach to degree level, and I am qualified to teach all three sciences to KS3 level.

Alison tailors her tutoring session to meet the needs of my daughter who struggles with chemistry. She gives my daughter practical tips to help her remember and is encouraging kind and patient when going through GCSE papers.

Alison has been very helpful and corresponded with my inquiries promptly, from a mother`s point of view she is a perfect tutor for my boys, but my 14 year old teenager is too self conscious to be home tutored by a lady. Biology lessons according to my son is a "big thing" apparently.

Alison Helped my daughter with her chemistry Gcse, my daughter achieved an A star.. Alison was very personable, worked very well with my daughter, was always punctual and happy to work around our other commitments, highly recommend.
