Our mission:
We are on a mission to provide online IGCSE and A level History and Politics education.
Who are you?
My name is Alex, I`ve started an online school in 2018. I have a B.A. in History, from Oxford Brookes, a PGCE in Teaching from the Institute of Education, a UEFA B coaching Licence from the Football Association and a Diploma in Sports Management and Business from the Johann Cryuff Institute, Barcelona. I am also an author of several books including the IGCSE books, The Changing Nature of Warfare, The Vietnam Conflict and travel guides to Sicily and Oxford. I have also lived in Brazil and Italy and have a smattering of both Portuguese and Italian.
What do you do?
I am the founder and director of an online school, educating students in History, Politics and a philosophy course. We also plan to start offering a creative writing course. We also have a history channel on YouTube where I provide revision material on key areas of study. With my lessons, I teach one to one or group classes. For me, it is mainly about creating critical thinkers, passing on knowledge and improving grades.

We currently have a year 9 history class, a one year IGCSE history course, and we host philosophy classes.
Ways to improve your GCSE History grades. Looking at Papers, and key events as well as GCSE History past papers. Working on GCSE History Edexcel, OCR and AQA.
Ways to improve your A level History and Politics grades. Looking at Papers, and key events as well as GCSE History past papers.
This is not a magic wand that will fix everything in a second or week. To become a good historian you need to work at it.
‘Practice makes Perfect.’
We will work on what you need to know and what you need to practice on as well as demonstrating what a good essay or answer looks like.
Availability: I am currently available throughout the week, we also have spaces for a year 9 class on Mondays. We are looking to set up Year 11, 10, 8 and 7 classes.
We already have a Year 9 class running on Monday`s for 1 hour and 15 minutes from 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm.

Experience: It`s been a great experience tutoring for the past 11 years. I hold a keen interest in History, Politics and Philosophy and am keen to help any student wanting to progress in their studies.
