I am friendly and approachable, I have experience of working with pupils with special educational needs and have tutored across all age ranges from ks3 to adult learners.

I am currently employed as a curriculum leader at a local school and specialise in raising attainment from Grade 3 to 4 and 4 to 5, however i tutor across all grades and have previous successes on the legacy curriculum at B to A conversions, raising attainment in KS2 and KS3. My current role also requires me to be very knowledgeable about the recent curriculum changes, as such, I am in an excellent position to tutor students following both old specification gcse courses and the new 9-1 course.
I am also employed as a GCSE exam marker with edexcel.

I have successfully tutored individuals in the past and have assissted students in obtaining Grade C`s at GCSE and improving grades from Grade 4 to Grade 6.

My current charge for tuition is £24 - £30 per hour depending on location and key stage

Availability: I now have availability for immediate start and am happy to tutor over the holiday period. During the school holidays I am willing to be as flexible as possible to accommodate your needs.

During term time my availability for 1 to 1 tuition is currently as follows
Monday 16.30 - 18.00
Tuesday 16:30 - 19.30
Wednesday 17.30 - 19.30
Friday 16.30 - 18.00

Experience: I am a qualified and DBS checked teacher of GCSE mathematics. I have just finished tutoring 3 students in the last exam series and will update my profile with their results following the results day.

In 2015/16 i tutored 4 GCSE students three target grade C (raising from E and D grade, all of whom obtained grade C in their final examinations) and 1 target grade B (raising from grade C who achieved a grade A in her final examination)

In 2016/17 exam series I tutored a mature student raising from D grade to C grade on the legacy AQA exam and a secondary student aiming to increase from grade 4 to 5 whom went on to obtain grade 6 on the new specification.

2017/18 results. In this exam series I tutored 3 GCSE pupils 2 of which obtained grade 5 and the other obtained grade 6.

2018/19 results. In this exam series I tutored 3 students 1 is now moving into year 11 the other 2 have received a grade 6 and a grade 7 respectfully.

2019/20 due to the current global situation no examinations will take place this year.
