Information about Alan
I am a qualified (PGCE) and experienced secondary school/6th form teacher. I am an examiner for A Level Economics and an A level Politics.
I have held the positions of Head of Business Studies & Economics at a Secondary School with a Sixth Form, and also Head of Government & Politics.
I have experience of teaching GCSE Business, A level Business, A level Economics and A level Politics. In addition I have lectured on the Foundation Course of a BA in Business Environment from Kingston University.
I have an easy going and student friendly approach. I believe that students learn best when they are relaxed and this approach has consistently generated exam success and enjoyable learning experiences for pupils.
Availability: I would primarily be available in the late afternoon/evening time and on the weekend as I am still currently working as a full-time teacher during the week.
