Information about Angus
Hi, I am an experienced Economics, Business and Mathematics professional with a proven track record of success over 14 years. I am exceptionally passionate about my subjects and consistently stay abreast of new developments within the discipline both in my freetime and as an examiner. My main areas of expertise are Economics A level and Business Studies A level/GCSE and BTEC, but I also have a proven track record of success in Mathematics. As a Head of Sixth Form I would also be willing to offer my expertise on university entrance requirements and UCAS personal statements.
Availability: I am available weekday evenings, but if necessity dictates and I am concerned about a candidates progression, I might be willing to offer weekend sessions and potential holiday sessions if mutually convenient. I am based in South Shropshire about 7 miles north of Ludlow, close to the borders of Powys, Herefordshire, and Worcestershire. I would be willing to travel and also teach at home. Parents would be more than welcome to stay whilst the lessons are underway.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: BA (hons) Economics, PGCE Economics, Business and ICT. I have examined for two of the major exam boards at GCSE and AS and A level and have a wealth of experience in tutoring for exam success. I have been teaching for 14 years and in those years have been commended in many areas for raising student attainment well beyond their targets. In Economics and Business my students rarely attain anything less than a B grade.
