Currently Assistant Headteacher at a school in Purley and specialise in Business and Economics GCSE and A-Level .Before this I was Head of Department at a leading Private girls school in Surrey. Having left Nottingham University, I took time out of teaching to start my own business. This got me to the last 10 of the HSBC Entrepreneur competition. I`m a very keen sportsmen and have played rugby and hockey at a high level. Overall, I see teaching as a fun and energetic activity and this comes across in my relaxed classroom.

I have authored numerous textbooks for Harper Collins and write for their blog and marketing material. I am now also working with Edexcel as part of the new curriculum development.
I have extensive experience in tutoring, and have been fully booked for over a year now. I am happy to provide references, both from this website and private tutees.

Availability: I only tutor a small number of students and therefore I cannot give accurate availability until contacted.

Experience: I completed my PGCE in Nottingham,teaching in two large mixed comprehensives. I taught Business Studies and Humanities. I then took 6 months out of teaching to set up my own business before accepting the Head of department job at Sir William Perkins`s school in December. I then joined the teaching staff at The Harris Academy, South Norwood where I was Head of Economics and Careers.
I then moved to my current school and enjoy the Assistant Headteacher position but still teach business and economics.
