I have been a Physics teacher for 13 years; nine of these years have been spent a high performing school near London. After travelling for six months and relocating to Bristol I initially became a supply teacher (mostly long term) and now I have a full time position in another high performing school.

Availability: I am available most days and also during school holidays.

Experience: In my previous long term role in a school near London, I taught Physics up to A-level for nine years with some Chemistry, Biology and Maths up to GCSE. This has continued throughout my time as a teacher in the Bristol / Bath area. One of the more novel and interesting experiences during this time was teaching AS-level Chemistry and Physics to a group of Norwegian exchange students based on their syllabus. I currently teach IGCSE Physics and Astronomy as well as Physics to A-level and IB (both standard and higher level).

Since qualifying as a teacher, and to some extent even before that, I have tutored all of the sciences, and Maths (up to GCSE) and Physics to A-level. In doing this I have been exposed to many examination boards including OCR, A & B, AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas, IB and Edexcel IGCSE.

During the summer of 2019 I worked as an examiner for OCR. This role required me to mark A-level physics exam scri pts for the Unified Physics unit. I will also be marking scri pts for this unit again in the summer of 2022.
