Information about Zach
I am a Politics teacher, formerly Head of Politics at JFS and currently Head of Humanities at the British International School of Washington, D.C., offering ONLINE A-LEVEL POLITICS TUITION via Skype or FaceTime.
I specialise in the Edexcel specification, having been an examiner for several years, though I have also tutored both the AQA and OCR courses.
At AS-Level, I teach the following topics:
Pressure Groups, Political Parties, Democracy, Elections, Parliament, The Prime Minister and Cabinet, Judiciary, Constitution.
At A2-Level, I specialise in the American politics option:
Elections, Racial and Ethnic Politics, Political Parties, Pressure Groups, Presidency, Congress, Supreme Court, Constitution.
At degree level my specialism is modern British and American Politics.
Availability: I am based in Washington, D.C., and so tutoring will mainly be at weekends by appointment. Weekday slots would be at 9pm UK time.
I can also offer more intensive tuition in the school holidays.
I am happy to tutor two or three students at a time if classmates wish to share the cost, though my rate would be slightly higher than for one-on-one tuition.
Please feel free to message me with enquiries.
