Information about Lou

I work part-time as a Teacher of Mathematics in a high school. I have 20 years’ experience in education gained from being a Teacher, Tutor and Examiner. I am happy and hardworking. I have always loved Maths and teaching others hence setting up my own business Maths Made Simple. I am a parent also, so understand your desire for your child to succeed.

Experience: I have worked in education for 20 years and now work part-time as a Maths Teacher in a high school. I have BSc Hons (1st Class) in Mathematics with Biology, MSc Mathematics and PGCE Mathematics in Secondary Education. I have been an A-Level Examiner in Maths and Further Maths for a number of years and have taught the majority of topics at A-Level over the years too. Also I have tutored pupils for university entrance tests/provided interview preparation.

I have tutored Year 5 and 6 pupils and have worked in primary liaison.

My daughter really enjoys her maths session with Lou who is very friendly and puts her pupil at ease. Lou has managed to get my daughter to actually enjoy maths after many years falling behind her peers. I am hoping the confidence Lou is helping my daughter to find will follow her to the classroom. Would recommend Lou always punctual and professional.
