I am very experienced, enthisiastic, well qualified geography teacher. My qualifications are:
B Sc ( Hons ), PGCE, M A (Ed), FRGS
I am an examiner for Geography GCSE.
I enjoy travel, walking,and painting. Professionally I regularly attend lectures at RGS to keep up to date with innovations in Geography. I was a house tutor with pastoral responsibilities.
I have plenty of experience of individual tutoring and my pupil achieve top grades at both A level and GCSE.

Experience: I have taught all ages and abilities, but mostly preparing students for Geography gcse and A level. I am a specialist in physical geography at A level but also very experienced in fieldwork projects and coursework. Currently examiner for Geography gcse.
I have taught in state sector ( Steyning grammar school) and independent sector ( Our Lady of Sion, Worthing and Lancing college). I have also taught abroad for a year. I taught at lancing College for 19 years and was responsible for A level physical Geography. I have been involved with curriculum development for exam courses and developed and led fieldwork in Uk and overseas. I was head of year 9 and head of pshe. I have attended cpd courses annually and courses at RGS. Since then I have worked part time in an independent pre prep school ( Sompting abbotts)focusing on Common Entrance and scholarship levels.
