I am a skilled and highly knowledgeable teacher and tutor of Geography. I am passionate about the subject and understand the challenges many students face. From developing exam technique, to understanding challenging concepts to building student confidence, I ensure that students feel supported and engaged along the way. I have proven every time that every individual can achieve far more than they believe possible with carefully tailored and personalised support.

As a tutor, i prepare resources beforehand, with the idea being to maximise learning time for each session. I look to complement student knowledge with additional case studies, concepts or theories to build a student capable of applying themselves to a wide variety of questions. I also aim to set work each session, which when emailed back to me, I mark and return for the beginning of each meeting. This gives the student direct feedback – an asset which makes an incredible difference.

Achievements from tutees:
#1: 13 year old student achieved the Westminster scholarship from my tuition.
#2: 16 year old improved from grade D in mock exams to grade A in his final.
#3: 18 year old gap year student who had failed his original A-Level retook to achieve a grade B and access his first choice university.

Experience: I completed the Teach First Leadership scheme, teaching Geography in social disadvantaged and academically weak schools. After achieving the highest A* and A results from an optional subject, I was made Head of Geography.

From this starting point, i moved to a top 4 UK independent school which recently achieve 96.5 A.A at GCSE and 95% A`s in the recent A-Level. These results are an outcome of incredible hard work and passion from both myself and students.

Alongside all of this, i have delivered Easter revision courses and tutored students individually, in pairs, in schools and in colleges to get the results that they are unable to achieve on their own. I have tutored the following:
