I was born and grew up in a small town in South Wales, but I have crossed the border and settled very happily in Surrey!

I studied psychology at university and soon after completing my degree, I trained to be an English language teacher. This led me to return to university and complete a masters to become a primary school teacher.

In the future I would like to combine my enjoyment of psychology and teaching to complete a doctorate and work as an educational psychologist.

In my free time I love to keep fit I regularly go running and play tennis and golf. I`m a big rugby fan and often travel back to Wales to watch the autumn international games and the six nations.

Availability: I am available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6pm-8pm. I am also free on Saturday from 10am-4pm.

Experience: I have been working in education for the past 6 years, teaching English as a foreign language and I have also taught at primary school level. After leaving university, I gained a CELTA and taught at an international school in Eastbourne. Not only was I teaching, but I also participated in the social activity programme and led excursions to famous landmarks and attractions around the UK. I then returned to university where I completed my PGCE in primary education. I worked at an inner city school in Birmingham teaching a year 3 class and then I relocated to Surrey where I spent two years teaching in year 4.
