I am a Teaching Assistant with an MA in History from the University of Edinburgh. I have also recently completed an MA in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music.

I am a confident and hardworking individual with strong communication skills which I have acquired from my various roles working with children. I am cheerful, focused and have a good sense of humour which I consider to be incredibly important when tutoring . I’m polite, well-spoken, easily approachable and enthusiastic.

I have plenty of experience working with both SEN students, early ages and secondary school ages; having had work experience as a Teaching Assistant and experience as a performing arts teacher at a weekend drama school for young children aged 5-16 in Ripon.

My MA in History has also provided me the skills needed to tutor at higher levels than just Primary if needed.

Availability: I work 8am-4pm Monday-Friday but I am available evenings and weekends for Tutoring.

Experience: I am currently working as an SEN Teaching Assistant at Gatehouse Independent Primary School. I work with children ranging from ages 3-11; both with and without Special Educational Needs. I have experience covering all major subjects (i.e. English, Maths and Science) alongside others such as Music, History and R.E.

My work with Year 6 students has also allowed me to gain 1-1 experience tutoring for 11+ practice papers.
