I spent 14 years at a Liverpool school and was trained on the Outstanding Teacher Programme. Having taught children with learning difficulties I know the importance of finding ways of teaching to their abilities and learning style.
I have worked as a Functional Maths tutor, Maths Intervention Tutor and International University Statistics Lecturer. My bio is:

I am a fully qualified Maths teacher .

I have 25 years experience as a secondary Maths teacher. Spending 14 years at a school in Liverpool where I was trained on an Outstanding Teacher Programme .

I have worked both as a Functional Maths tutor, and as a Maths Intervention Teacher.

I especially enjoy enabling progress of individual students and small groups. I find it particularly rewarding when someone who has been struggling to grasp a concept suddenly understands and can successfully answer questions by themselves. Having taught children with learning difficulties I know the importance of finding ways of teaching to their abilities and learning style. I make it my priority to insure all students can learn the best way that suits them whether it being, visual, kinaesthetic, auditory or read and write.

I have also been very successful tutoring students for 11+ examinations enabling entrance to Grammar School Education.

Online one-to-one lessons are now available using zoom.
