I have a degree in Physics (Nuclear Astrophysics) and I completed my PGCE (Science) at the University of Oxford in 2019.

I am now in my 4th year working full-time as a fully qualified Physics teacher and Head of Physics at a local state school, teaching years 7-13. I also teach Chemistry and Biology up to Year 11, but Physics is my forte.

I have previously taught all exam boards, but my main experience has been teaching the AQA specification; both combined and separate.

I’m highly numerate, having studied 13 Mathematics modules at A-Level (Eq. A-level Mathematics, A-level Further Mathematics, plus an additional module). Therefore, I’m comfortable and qualified to teach mathematics up to age 16. (KS3 and GCSE)

I have lots of availability over the school holidays and can be flexible with hours. During term time, we can arrange a slot during the evening or at the weekend at your home; an adult has to be at home during tutoring sessions for safeguarding purposes.

Online tutoring is more flexible so my availability will be better if this is your preference. Pupils will ideally have access to a tablet they can write on and screen share.

At A-level I specialise in Particle Physics, Nuclear Astrophysics, Mechanics and Further Mechanics.
