I`ve been playing for 30 years in some of London`s best know venues, smaller clubs from the 80s and 90`s that have now gone on to be somewhat renowned - Tatty Bogles, Bunjees, The Green Note, The 12 Bar Club to lager venues such as the Astoria and the Brixton Academy and many others besides.
Signed for some years as a songwriter to Sony BMG and still very much interested in writing and encouraging others to develop their writing. Currently recording an album of original material with a UK number 1 and Brit Award nominee producer.
Numerous sessions over the years working with bands and also with composers on Film and TV scores.
Now very committed to teaching having developed what I believe to be a very successful method that has proven effective in helping students overcome inhibitions and find their own musical "voice."
Obviously technique and theory are at the core of this method but the imperative to keep lessons fun and enjoyable is never forgotten and students will make rapid and satisfying progress if an agreed practice schedule is maintained.
I get great pleasure from sharing the secrets that help to unlock the musical styles I have spent a lifetime mastering.

Availability: I operate as a full time tutor/ professional musician and endeavour to accommodate all interested students. Once a convenient time is arranged I also attempt to maintain regular lessons with students whilst still providing flexibility for students in accordance with the demands of busy lives.

Experience: Many years of experience as a private tutor, group tutor and school teacher .
12 years part time Art Technician in a Further Education and 6th form College.

Able to teach to expert level in the following styles- Folk, Rock, Pop. Classical , Ragtime, Flamenco and Latin.
Beginners also very welcome.
