I have been Head of Dept for EAL for 20 years and Head of Psychology for 10. I have experience of all Cambridge exams; I am an IELTS specialist. I enjoy one to one teaching and will plan lessons for the individual in EAL, Spanish. I have 15 years` experience of helping with personal statements for university applications. I speak fluent Spanish and have had excellent results at GCSE. I am an assistant examiner for Cambridge English and Psychology. I studied Philosophy for my first degree. I am offering GCSE English Language, (not Literature) as that is the one everyone needs!

Experience: I have taught English in UK, Spain and S America. I have, until this month, been Head of EAL at 3 independent schools, over a period of 20 years. I have wide experience of teaching both everyday and academic English. I have taught Cambridge exams from KET to Advanced and IELTS. I consider myself an IELTS specialist. I have edited PhDs and Master`s dissertations in a variety of subjects including sciences. I was also Head of Psychology for over 10 years and have taught the OCR syllabus; I would be happy to teach other syllabi. I speak very good Spanish and have taught GCSE and achieved good results. I have taught GCSE English (as a first language). I studied Philosophy for my BA (Hons) and TEFL for my MEd. I am good at establishing an effective and fun working relationship with students. I have 20 years experience teaching Asian students, amongst other nationalities, so I understand their particular difficulties with English.
