Having graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Masters degree (MMath) in Mathematics with Statistics I am now working as an actuary.

I work at a life insurance company using Maths/Statistics everyday as an essential part of my role. I have vast experience of analysing a variety of large datasets, working as part of a team, and communicating results to a range of stakeholders including senior managers and more junior colleagues. I am a part qualified actuary so still studying post-university maths regularly so the concepts are continually practiced.

I am looking mainly to tutor adults and have particular expertise in
- Maths/Statistics: GCSE, A level
- Microsoft Excel: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, SUMIF/S, etc., pivot tables
- Microsoft Access
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Word
- R (programming language).

Inside and outside of work, I have successfully trained people in Maths, Microsoft Exce, Word, Acess and R (statistical programming) leading training sessions for varying abilities.

Often my students find they can use Excel but want to improve on their speed so I specialise in teaching Excel shortcuts along the way.
