I am an assistant educational psychologist assessing and working with children with a range of special educational needs. I am a qualified primary school teacher with 4 years of experience in both Key Stage 1 and 2 (SATs year groups). I have a BSc in Psychology (2:1) from the University of Birmingham; a post graduate certificate in education from Birmingham City University; and a post-graduate diploma in Education Mental Health Practice from King`s College London. Through the Teach First programme, I received my Qualified Teacher Status in 2017. I am a caring, patient and dedicated teacher and love working with children and watching their "light bulb moments". I have had experience with a range of primary school ages and abilities. I have also worked as a mental health practitioner for children for two years.

Experience: During my career I have taught Year 6 twice and Year 2 twice so I have a good understanding of teaching with SATs tests (Maths, Arithmetic, SPAG and Reading) in mind. I have a wealth of resources, learning techniques and tips to guide your child through the SATs curriculum. Furthermore, if your child is not at SATs age just yet, I can adapt the teaching to fit with their age range and give them a solid base for learning when they arrive in their SATs year.
