Information about Luke
Hi Everyone,
I am Luke , a PhD student in Applied Mathematics at University College London with a previous Chemical Engineering MEng degree from the University of Edinburgh. I spent my first semester at UCL tutoring undergraduates in applied mathematics courses and regularly tutoring my siblings throughout their GCSE`s and current A-levels. My belief is that anyone can do maths and science. The key is compassion and patience from the teacher combined with a strong work ethic from the pupil. Together these pillars facilitate the development of a strong understanding of core principles, critical in the success of any mathematically founded subject. I will work with all ability levels, providing a supportive environment where no questions are stupid, bringing out your maximum potential. I can work with all the maths and physics syllabuses used by schools in the UK. If the subject is new or unique, I will put in the extra hours of preparation to satisfy your learning goals.
Finally, I offer 24/7 email support and a half-price first-hour skills assessment/meet-and-greet lesson. This will allow you to decide whether I am suitable for your learning needs. Block booking and online
discounts can also be provided on enquiry.
