My name is Bethan and I am a head of science and biology teacher. This is a job that I love and I am sure that this is a large part of my success as a teacher.

The vast majority of my lessons in work are AS and A2 biology which means that I have an excellent knowledge of these courses. The combination of my enthusiasm for the subject as well as the expertise I have developed in the delivery and assessment of these courses make me an effective tutor. As well as helping further develop knowledge and understanding, I can also help with improving examination techniques and introducing new revision techniques. I have experience of a level examining with several boards and I am currently an examiner for WJEC A level biology.

I drive and as such I am willing to travel to you.

Availability: Monday to Thursday evenings only.
Weekends if required.

Experience: I am currently working as a teacher in a college in Cardiff. In my job, I teach AS and A2 Biology and BTEC Level 3 Applied Science.

I gained my PGCE in Secondary Biology with Science in June 2012 and have QTS (qualified teacher status). Following the completion of my PGCE I began work in September 2012.

As well as my teaching role I am also an examiner for AS Biology and as such have excellent experience in examinations.
