I am a primary school and a TEFL [teaching English as a foreign language] teacher with many years experience in this country and abroad. I am enthusiastic and approachable and believe that building a trusting relationship based on positivity is the best way to help pupils, students and adults learn. I am committed to helping everyone I teach to achieve their potential. I really enjoy teaching and I have built constructive relationships with pupils, students adults and families that I have worked with.

Experience: In the United Kingdom I have taught in mainstream schools for 10 years, teaching full time as a Year 3,4 and 5 teacher. I have also been an RE [ Religious Education ] coordinator as well as an African Link Coordinator where I set up a link between the school I was working in and a school in Uganda. I organised an exchange of cards and letters between the two schools which all the pupils enjoyed and learnt about each other’s culture. I taught English in Uganda for two years and I was responsible for teaching the Primary Leaving Exam. In Hungary I taught English for three years in a primary school and while I was there we created an English immersion programme for use in a few schools in Hungary.
