Hello, I’m a secondary school teacher of Spanish, French and Italian and I have 7 years experience. I live in Cromford, Matlock and can do my tutor sessions from my home or come to you.
As I teacher, I am very familiar with the GCSE framework and criteria and have developed a huge range of learning strategies and resources. I can provide you with tips on useful websites, apps and revision guides and can mark work and provide homework if desired.
I have a lot of experience in adapting my teaching to different ages, needs and learning styles and can tailor my tutoring to you.
If you`d like me to come to you, a small extra fee may be chargeable for travel expenses, depending on the distance. If you are further than 5 miles from Cromford we can discuss possibilities.

Experience: After my training year in a Nottingham school I worked as a languages teacher in a Long Eaton school for 6 years. I have a degree from the University of Leeds in French and Italian and I lived in France for a term and Italy for a year as part of my studies. I can therefore teach French and Italian up to A-Level if necessary.
I started studying Spanish after picking it up while traveling Latin America and have been teaching it to GCSE level for 5 years.
I’ve taught English as a foreign language to adults as a private tutor and to classes of primary age children as a volunteer abroad. I`ve also taught Spanish in primary schools in regular sessions with year 5s and 6s.
