I am trained and experienced in science communication, that means I can make difficult science concepts easy to understand.

I have a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Science Communication. I have worked with students from a range of backgrounds and confidence levels. I strive to help students enjoy science and take the stress away from learning.

As part of my background in Science Communication I have carried out research on science learning and know how to fully evaluate to make sure students are getting the most out of sessions.

My sole focus is on tutoring, therefore I can provide personalised learning materials for each student and can really understand and solve any issues they may face.

Experience: I have worked with pupils in informal learning settings, developing and delivering workshops helping students to learn the curriculum through fun activities.
I have also mentored students in science competitions, teaching them how to best explain science to the public. In addition, I have completed a research project at Imperial College and demonstrated this research at the Big Bang Science Fair to celebrate STEM for 7 – 19 year olds.
