I am a highly experienced practicing architect and tutor with 15 years experience. I can help with critique and advice on design from concept to detailing, drawing, design coordination, precedent studies, graphics, brief writing, essay / report writing.

Availability: I am available in the evenings and at weekends, from June I will also be available all day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Experience: I am a highly experienced practicing architect and tutor with 15 years experience. I have taught at the University of Bath, on the engineering course at Bristol University and I am currently a part 3 mentor. I studied at Bath for my part 1, Manchester School of Architecture Bioclimatics Studio for my part 2. I have worked at Arup Associates, Stride Treglown, and I currently working at AHR where I am an Associate. I am highly technical as well as theoretical and have an excellent understanding of architectural education and am a great listener and problem solver.

I have delivered many university buildings such as 4ES for the University of Bath Dept. of Architecture, Coventry University Engineering and Computing Building, The School of Engineering at UWE (current), and Gordon Square refurbishment, a grade 2listed building for Birkbeck university as well as a number of infrastructure projects such as The Queensferry Crossing including the visitor centre.

I really enjoy helping students learn about how to become an architect, how to problem solve, working with a team, understanding a brief, working with materials and manifesting an understanding of how to deliver sustainable buildings.
