Information about Chloe
I have been tutoring for over 15 years and have worked with students ranging from 5 to 18 years old. I have experience working with students that have been disengaged, that have high needs and students that just need a little support to gain their goal.
As a person I am very calm, empathetic, approachable and positive and I really enjoy working 1:1 with students to find a way for them to really engage with the subject and get the most out of it.
I have been an examiner for 10 years and having the knowledge of the syllabus and mark scheme is really beneficial as I can help decode that students which allows them to feel empowered and in control of how to get the best out of their work.
I understand that English can be a subject that many students find difficult and I work hard to tailor my sessions to how each student likes to learn and to also tap into their own creativity and personality so that it can be enjoyable along the way.

Experience: I have worked in education for the past 15 years and my teaching experience ranges from teaching on Basic Skills programmes to teaching at GCSE and A Level. One of my strengths is being able to relate to all walks of life, ages and being able to draw the potential out of all those I support.
I studied Drama and Education at University and came out with a high 2.1 BA Honours and have completed by teacher training. I have worked in Adult Education, the special needs sector and Further Education - my varied experience has shaped my approach to teaching and whilst I am firm I am also compassionate and understand that education can be a hurdle to many. I love to come up with creative sessions to make sure that the student is engaged and motivated and I have supported many students through KS2/3 and GCSEs with high success. I have also tutored students at a young age who need that crucial support to connect with and understand a subject. I work hard to tailor a session to the students needs and particular learning style and am committed to seeing them through their learning journey.
