I have completed an Integrated Masters in Biochemistry from the University of York. I have achieved A*AA in Chemistry, Biology and Maths respectively. Throughout my school life, I have always been scientifically curious and enjoyed learning concepts in an interactive manner. I have taught younger students within my school, relatives for their GCSE exams and cherished those opportunities to impart knowledge, inculcate curiosity within them. I have taught Maths to first year students within the Biology Department who had not done A-level Mathematics. I have also taught the violin in schools in York while working as a volunteer for the Music Education Group of the Department of Music. These experiences have made me confident to understand and organise lessons with respect to my pupil`s concerns, learning style. I always yearn to teach in a way that students are empowered and realise their academic best. Along with my lessons, I will also prepare revision notes and offer any guidance for examinations. I would like to tutor KS3 and GCSE students in Science, Maths and A-level students in Chemistry, Maths.
