I am a full-time Lecturer in Human Geography, and also a highly experienced academic and instrument tutor. Additionally, I have several years` experience in research assistance, proofreading, editing, and academic writing. I also front an established band on the London music scene, which has involved performing at festivals internationally and working with labels in the UK and US.

Qualifications include:

PhD - School of Geography, QMUL
MPhil in Multidisciplinary Gender Studies - St John`s College, Cambridge
BA (First Class Hons) in History - St John`s College, Cambridge
ABRSM Grade 8 w/distinction in classical piano
ABRSM Grade 7 w/merit in classical violin

Experience: I have been teaching and tutoring since 2011 in a variety of capacities.

In 2011 I worked for Cambridge Clinic and Sanctuary as a music, English, and history teacher for a group of teenage girls unable to participate in mainstream education.

Since 2012 I have written, edited, and proofread academic copy (coursework, applications, personal statements etc). I am currently part-time employed by Britannia Proofreading Agency, dealing mostly with scientific and financial academic articles.

Since 2013 I have taught a range of pupils in subjects from piano to A Level history, with consistently positive results.

From 2015 to 2017 I worked at Millfields Community School in Clapton, teaching piano and coordinating different children`s ensembles.

When I began my PhD research in 2016 I immediately began assisting in teaching different undergraduate modules, and was hired by QMUL School of Geography as a teaching associate.

I am currently Lecturer in Human Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London.
