I am a very experienced teacher of French. I am a French national but I have lived in Britain for 35 years. I am fully qualified and can offer French at any level. I am enthusiastic and motivated, and I love teaching my own language to others, be it for exams, business or leisure.
Availability: I can be available during the day and certain evenings.

Experience: I have a BA (Hons) in both French and English. I hold a PGCE and QTS teaching qualifications. I have been teaching French for over 20 years, in schools and colleges around England. I have also taught privately on many occasions. I am very familiar with exam syllabuses at both GCSE and A Level.

Having not studied French for almost 10 years, I started lessons with Muriel to get a basic understanding of French before moving to France. I really enjoyed our lessons and have learnt a lot in a short space of time. She is a excellent tutor, has a very positive attitude and is always willing to help and go at your own pace. I would highly recommend Muriel. Thank you so much for all the help and confidence you gave me!

I really enjoy my lessons I am so glad I found Muriel, I am currently doing my a-levels online independently so it`s easy to feel a bit lost and unmotivated but Muriel really helps with this, we usually have a chat every couple of weeks about my progress and make sure that I am in a good position to work towards my exams. I would definitely recommend her to people looking for support in exams and also people wanting to learn French casually.
