I am a language enthusiast, who has lived in three countries (the UK, Spain and China), having taught English in the last two. I love to learn and read in foreign languages. I am fluent in Spanish, and can just about scrape by in Chinese and French! I love helping learners of all ages discover the joy of communicating in another language.

I have a first-class degree in Linguistics from the University of York, as well as an MSc from Edinburgh University. I have a DELE certificate (diploma in Spanish, from the Instituto Cervantes) at a C1 level.

Experience: I have three years teaching experience teaching English: two years providing evening classes at an academy to learners of all ages (children, teenagers and adults) in Spain, and nine months teaching children at an international primary school in Beijing, China.
