Information about Tristan
DBS-checked PGCE Chemistry trainee with GITEP and the University of Bristol, currently teaching Years 7 to 12 in Gloucester. Former lead data engineer at Pfizer, so I link classroom science to real-world applications. I specialise in AQA GCSE Chemistry and KS3 Science, and I also support A level Chemistry and A level Biology.
I was tutored from D grades to A grades while managing ADHD, so I build SEN-aware routines and connect well with learners who find focus difficult. Lessons are calm, structured, and exam-focused. I use optical illusions and puzzles to spark curiosity and flexible problem solving. Degrees: BSc Biomedical Science and MSc Computer Science (thesis in interpretable machine learning/AI) from the University of Kent. Founder of the Kent DJ and Music Production Society and Kent Esports Society.
