Hi, my name is Aby and I am dedicated to helping and working with tutees in reaching their potential in an environment driven by their personal learning methods. I think it is important to tailor each session to an individual rather than to the mark scheme, as they will be able to appreciate their own achievements as an entity rather than constant comparison.

I am currently a fourth year medical student and have achieved all A`s and A*`s in my previous exams. Throughout my time at medical school, I have found it easier to condense and simplify my notes first just to make them comprehendible, which is a skill that I hope to relay to my students. I have also had experience peer tutoring during my GCSEs, where I carried the skills that I learned from that into the future.

My vision is to make the sessions as interactive as possible so that it doesn`t involve just spoon-feeding from a textbook. I will focus on the the student`s weakest areas within topics and direct it towards their own style of learning. But most importantly, I want to develop their confidence in science topics, not just for future exams but so that they can discover their full potential.

Through firsthand experience of GSCE exams, I feel I am in an advantageous position to provide relevant information about the subjects. Science is something I am very passionate about and I hope to be able to pass this onto others through teaching!

Experience: I have taught in mock exams for prospective medical students and am experienced in teaching through online platforms e.g. collaborate, for online workshops about mental health. I am also a mentor for a scheme that helps year 13 students apply for medicine.
