Information about Yulia
Qualified teacher of MFL/Russian(City Lit, 2012), specialising in teaching at beginner/intermediate level, GCSE and A-level. Russian is my native language and I studied theatre history at Saint Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy.
I think of myself as friendly, creative, reliable, well organized and skillful in using different learning techniques.
I am also available for translation and writing work English to Russian.
Availability: Daytime and some evenings on weekdays, Saturday mornings.
First lesson is at half price.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: My main experience is to prepare A-Level and GCSE students for the exams, as well as for Oxford ML Admission test.
I also have an experience as an examiner at A-level Russian Speaking exam.
I have detailed knowledge of the new GCSE and A-Level Russian specification having attended live and online training from Pearson Edexcel’s new Edexcel in June 2017.

Yulia is an excellent and professional tutor who helped my daughter in her GCSE Russian oral. This was done online and worked out very well.Yulia knows the curriculum inside out and lessons were very well prepared. She is also friendly and was able to put my daughter at ease.

Yulia has tutored my son for a couple of years leading to him attaining A* in GCSE Russian. She is highly competent in her subject as well as taking initiative and flexible in adjusting her schedule to our needs. Yulia built rapport with my son so that he could trust her guidance and advices fully. She has proved herself as being trustworthy and proactive, communicating clearly and showing patience in hard situations.
Yulia is a well rounded professional whose interests span well beyond the subjects she teaches. Her ability to discuss broadly variety of topics with her tutees benefits their learning immensely.

Excellent Russian teacher who assisted my son gaining a very high grade for his 2018 GCSE exams. Yulia is fully aware of what is required for the Edexcel exam which is a huge advantage. Very pleasant lady and dedicated. Definitely recommend Yulia as a tutor. Chris
