I am a qualified teacher whose passion is in helping learners to believe in themselves.

With plenty of encouragement and reassurance from me, together with your commitment and practice; your confidence will thrive and in turn you will achieve your goals with a `can do` mindset.

My approach to teaching maths successfully, is to keep it simple and fun. Maths can be quite a challenge at times for some, so demonstrating carefully chosen examples in small steps, followed by purposeful practice, is the approach I find works best. It is imperative that learners are prevented from forming misconceptions in the early stages which can debilitate their working memory, the tool most needed when processing new material to long term memory.

I apply diagnostic questioning techniques to assess understanding and feedback is always given to parents at the end of each session.

I have experience in marking exam papers (Pearson Edexcel and City & Guilds) and so can offer tips and guidance on how to achieve maximum marks together with time efficiency skills.

Availability: Online daytime and after school hours availabilty.

Experience: I began studying in 2016 for the BSc (Hons) Mathematics and its Learning degree with The Open University.

I am a fully qualified (CertEd) teacher.

I have over 200 hours maths tutoring experience within a classroom setting at MK Community Learning, (Pearson Edexcel, City & Guilds).

Over 200 hours one to one Primary, KS3 and GCSE maths (Pearson Edexcel).
