Worked as Team Manager of a team of 10 qualified teachers of Literacy and Numeracy within the Offender Learning Team of Strode College Somerset. Also taught for 10 years Literacy and Numeracy to Adults.
Working within this setting I was CRB checked.
I enjoy seeing people gain knowledge and understanding. Greatest reward is to see someone who was previously struggling able to become confident and able to move on with their studies.
Willing to work with most age groups. Would prefer 8 - 12 years or Adults who need encouragement and expertise in order to gain qualifications or just to feel more confident.
Happy to work in one to one situation (English or Maths) or Online if preferred.

Availability: Day or evening on most days of the week as now retired from full time teaching.

I can be available during the day and most evenings up to 9.30pm.
